Get Over It! How To Use a Lob Wedge
When I teach pitching at my golf school, it always surprises me how many students not only don’t carry a 60-degree wedge. But many say they cannot hit a lob wedge. First of all, a 60-degree wedge is just another golf club. It has a head, shaft, and a grip, so I cannot see why this would be any different from a sand wedge, other than the fact that the lob wedge is going to add a higher, softer landing shot to your arsenal! If you feel you cannot hit your lob wedge well, please go to the range and practice with this club until you master it. It will save you many, many shots during your round. I explain how to play a delicate lob shot over a bunker to a really close flag in this video. Enjoy!
