How to use the mirror for a head sway.

Place two or three balls a little further away than the ball you are going to hit.  Place the upper edge of the putting mirror on the balls, so the putting mirror is angled towards you, and you can see your reflection in the mirror.  Youn can now practice your backswing and feel what it feels like to keep your head steady.  Remember, it is not necessary to keep your head absolutely still.  It can move slightly from side to side as you swing.  Just not more than about 4 to 6 inches.

And again for a hip sway.

By angling the mirror a little steeper so that you can see your belt, you can also work on any lateral hip sway you may have on the backswing.  By picking the reflection of something behind you, try and keep the rear hip turning back and have no movement laterally.  This will help with weight shift and body rotation. Both will help you add more power to your swing.

So, besides using the Putting Mirror for the obvious, try these other uses. Maybe you can come up with some of your own.  If so, email me at melsolegolf@gmail.com and tell me about it.
